Food service pasta appliances are indispensable kitchen appliances for restaurants, hotels, commercial kitchens and catering businesses that prepare large quantities of fresh pasta or pasta products every day. They enable fast, efficient and standardized production to ensure the highest quality and consistency. Modern professional pasta appliances include pasta stoves for the quick preparation of pasta as well as complete pasta production centers that automate the entire production process from dough preparation to the finished pasta.
The right solution for every kitchen – Gastrofrit pasta appliances at a glance
Gastrofrit offers a selection of high-quality pasta stoves and pasta production centers that have been specially developed for professional use in the food service industry. Depending on the size of the business and production requirements, there are different models ranging from compact pasta stoves to large-format production machines.
TW-350 pasta stove (electronic)
The TW-350 is available as a free-standing model or as a built-in version. It is suitable for medium-sized restaurants that regularly serve pasta but do not require extremely high capacities. With an output of 9 kW and an hourly output of 25 kg/h, it is ideal for restaurants with a medium volume of guests. The appliance has an electronic salt sensor that measures the salt content in the cooking water and gives a visual and audible signal when it falls below a certain minimum. This ensures consistently high pasta quality. In addition, an intelligent water circulation system ensures that the cooking water is heated evenly and starch absorption is optimized.
TW-400 pasta stove (electronic)
The TW-400 is the more powerful version of the TW-350 and is suitable for businesses with high pasta consumption. With an output of 10 kW and an hourly output of 30 kg/h, it offers a higher capacity and more flexible basket equipment. The appliance has one or two large baskets and six portion baskets, allowing different types of pasta to be prepared at the same time. Like the TW-350, this model is also equipped with an electronic salt sensor. The TW-400 is also available as a built-in version. Another highlight is the automatic basket lifting function, which makes it possible to control the cooking process precisely and to lift the baskets out of the water automatically once the cooking time has elapsed.
PMM-151 Pasta Production Center
The PMM-151 is a versatile production center for making fresh pasta. With an output of 0.75 kW and a capacity of 12 kg/h (mixing & pressing), it is ideal for restaurants or small pasta manufacturers who want to offer their own creations. It enables individual recipes in terms of shape, color and taste. An optional dough roller can be integrated to further optimize the production process. In addition, the appliance can be extended with a pasta drying system, which gently dries the freshly produced pasta and thus extends its shelf life.
PMM-181 Pasta Production Center
The PMM-181 offers the same advantages as the PMM-151, but has a higher production capacity. With an output of 1.1 kW, it can process 30 kg/h (continuous pressing) or 15 kg/h (mixing & pressing). This machine is particularly suitable for large-scale operations that require efficient, high-volume pasta production. In addition, the PMM-181 offers a wider range of dies so that different pasta shapes can be produced without additional manual adjustments.
How do you choose the right pasta machine for your business?
Choosing the right catering pasta machine depends on several factors, including the size of the business, the daily production volume and the desired flexibility.
- Production volume & size of business: Small and medium-sized restaurants benefit from the TW-350, while large kitchens and canteens with a high pasta turnover are better off with the TW-400.
- Space available in the kitchen: If space is limited, a built-in pasta stove may be a good choice.
- Type of pasta production: If you want to make homemade pasta, you should opt for a pasta production center such as the PMM-151 or PMM-181.
- Energy efficiency & operating costs: All Gastrofrit appliances are optimized for low energy consumption and high performance. The electronic salt sensor and the pulsating heating system prevent unnecessary water and energy consumption. In addition, there is the SICOTRONIC energy optimization, which reduces peak loads in the power grid and optimizes energy consumption.
- Future-proofing & business growth: If you want to expand your pasta range in the future, you should invest in a more powerful machine such as the TW-400 or the PMM-181.
